Kestrel® Pocket Wind Meters are widely utilized
for aircraft preflight, gliders, hang gliding, ballooning,
sailing & boating, parachuting, wind surfing, kite
flying, golfing, hunting & fishing, model aircraft,
crop dusting, fire fighting, track & field, an more!.
All four Kestrel® meters rely on a precision ultralight
impeller mounted in jewel bearings for accuracy. The
shock-mounted impeller is incased in a glass-reinforced
plastic housing, which can simply be popped out and
replaced with a new assembly in the event that the impeller
mechanism becomes worn or damaged.
